Notice: Hot air ballooning is weather dependent. We cancel roughly 30% of booked flights due to inclement weather. Passengers scheduling flights through PayPal, pay in full at the time of booking. When flights are canceled passengers receive a full and immediate refund back through PayPal. If the canceled flight occurs 180 days after booking, PayPal charges a transaction fee. Historically, we have absorbed the fee as a cost of doing business. However, the fee has increased and so have administrative costs. This penalty is no longer sustainable.

New Policy: Therefore effective immediately passengers canceled within the 180 day window will still receive full and immediate refunds if desired. PayPal passengers canceled outside the 180 day period can opt to receive refund checks via the mail or direct through PayPal minus the transaction fee.
